Default Oxygen O2 sensor question.. JDM D15B p08 ecu

I just dropped a JDM D15B Vtec motor in my 94 civic. I wired the Vtec selenoid and converted the ecm from auto trans to manual.. the car goes great. I still am gettin the check engine light for an "oxygen content" problem (code 1) tho. The o2 sensor that came on the motor has one wire, but the o2 sensor on the original harness was heated, with 4 wires. Now I checked the wiring diagram and the D14 connector on the ecu should run through the stock harness and be connectable with the sigle wire o2 sensor, considering I am now using the p08 computer which only requires the single wire. I checked for continuity to the ECU from the o2 sensor and the o2 sensor is putting out the proper voltage as well. I am really stumped.. Why am I gettin a trouble code?? Also, trouble code 1 refers to an "oxygen content" problem could this be caused by somthing other than the o2 sensor?? Any help would be greatly appriciated!

what voltage was the o2 putting out? Did you check it with a DMM or a scope. If you havent tried a scope try that. It should fluctuate in between 0-1v but should not actually hit 0 OR 1 volts that means there is a problem. Hope that helps a little
