i am redoing my piston rings and i think the first time i built it i might have gaped them wrong or put them in up side down i would like to know how do you know what side is up and what side is down. also the oil control ring the two out side rings do they both face up please help? cant stand the oil burning i go through half quart every two days.

 

i thought rings had marks so you would know
