Default Overheating Issue

I'm having an issue with my Car Overheating. This all started when I installed some New Cooling Modifications. I Installed a Brand New GSR Full Size Radiator, Samco Radiator Hoses, 2 Thin Fans, and a Fail Safe Thermostat. This was last Summer. Ever since then I have been having issues with the Car Heating up very quickly.

This first started last Summer. I noticed that my Autometer Water Temp gauge would read almost 250 Degrees after about 5-10 Minutes of normal Driving. I was told that the Gauge should read 150-190 Degrees (normal operating temperature) The Gauge is hooked up to an Upper Radiator Hose Adapter. The Stock Water Temp Gauge would stay at the noraml Temp but then I would notice it would start to go up. I would turn on my Heat, watch it drop, then continue to drive. Both Gauges would drop and read normal.

I figured it would be that my Fans were not turning on fast enough so I jumped the Fan Plug so it would turn on with the Ignition. Now my Fans are on all the time. That seemed to work. By then it was Fall and the Temperature outside was alot cooler. Didn't run into the problem anymore.

Now its starting to get warm and I am noticing that it is happening again. I ahve no clue what it is. When I check my Coolant Level it is fine. I'm not losing any Anti-Freeze. Radiator is not damaged, and all Hoses are tight. Is it right that my Gauge should read 150-190 Degrees for the normal operating Temp? Do you think the Gauge is sometimes reading higher because my Head has been machined and I ahve higher compression? What else can I do to troubleshoot this issue? Does anyone know whats going on?

Thanks
Ant

with the aftermarket fans isnt there 2 ways you can hook them up. one way is to pull air and the other way is to push. may want to check into that one may be better than the other

Already checked. Fans are wired correctly and working the right way.
