Overheating and coolant burning problem!!
I just wanted to know if anyone had any ideas on what is wrong with my car, I would say about every time i need to fill up on gas ( around 300 miles or so) my coolant goes from max-min. I havent noticed any spots or anything around where I park. Sometimes the car overheats though even if the coolant is full, it only overheats about maybe once a week or less, usually on hot days and long drives.... anyone know what the problem could be and what needs to be done?
btw is a b20/vtec swap in a DA integra

yes...check ur headgasket...happened to me b4...checked everything no sign of leaks...then it turned out to be a blown headgasket...better look in to it asap man...dont leave it fo too long or it will make a mess...good luck dud...let us know if its the gasket aightz...
there isnt any smoke nor any coolant in the oil from what i can see,
is it obvious if i got the head off that the headgasket is blwn is there anything specific i should look for

check ur coolant...if there's oil in the coolant (mucky looking(dirty)) then that'll tell you right away it's a headgasket problem. Also check ur compression while you're at it too...could be the thermostat not opening or getting stuck...when was the last time you replaced it?
If it was a head gasket you would be blowing white smoke out your exhaust and your oil would have coolant in it, as well as coolant in the oil as civicboisi said.
This is a picture of a blown head gasket on a Supra. You can see where leaks could occur, this is what you should look for if you take your head off.

Like civucboisi said it could also be a bad thermostat. Try replacing that before you rip the head off the block.
You sure there are no leaks in some hose?

as stated before though...it COULD be just a 5 dollar thermo thats bad...you should probably replace that anyways if you don't know the last time it was changed...that way, if it isn't the thermo, you could go ahead and check ur headgasket...
Ok i just noticed something really strange, maybe, anyways when i fill the coolant to max, it will go all the way to min within a few hundred miles, but when it gets to a little above min, then i dont think it burns any more... because it sucked it down really fast and now its been at the same spot for a couple days... is this a strange thing? im gonna keep an eye on it and coolant in my car just in case its a fluke but i think its gonna stay a little above min..

no, it is further back behind the distributor on the radiator hose that feeds the water pump. also where the thermo switch is.

i actually had a similar problem a few months ago. it was happening to me for about 6 months.
i was losing coolent and overheating with no signs of leaking.
turned out it was a leak/hole in the radiator. it had me puzzled for months because some days i would loose a lot and some none at all. the leak was hard to spot (i found it after an overheat and i spotted the coolent actually spraying everywhere), along the top on the crimp where the plastic cap and metal meet (plus it was under a mount for the fan). i could sometimes smell antifreeze but never spotted the leak. i guess the fan and heat combo dried it up before i could spot it.... anyway check for flaked off paint on the radiator near the crimps. the paint peeled right off from the high pressure steam. in my case at least.
