overheating
i have a 94 civic and up to a few months a go it ran fine, now it overheats, it seems like the fan wont kick on until the engine overheats ( the temp guage gets around 3/4 of the way to the red) i am planning on rebuilding my engine soon and dont want to blow my setup because my fan wont kick on. what can this be? i know it isnt the fuse because i would imagine the fan wont kick on at all if the fuse was bad HELP ME OUT PLEASE!!!!

are u just taking a guess, something similar happened to me but it was one of the fuses by the battery. but my fan didnt kick in at all, so your problem might be different. just check the fuses. it wouldnt hurt.
