Default over heating problem with motor

ok i have been doing some work on my car hear and there. i finally got it all put together and started it up, it ran fine, but after a while it started to over heat. i checked the thermostat, and it was fine, alil hard to get to open, could this be the problem? the one on my other motor was ALOT easier to open, both are b series motors.

also im runing a del sol dual core rad (or something thicker then normal.

theres the radiator im running its brand new.

could it be the radiator just isn't enough for the motor? im purchasing a koyo full length radiator this week.

should i also replace the thermostat are they always pretty hard to open (with your hands).

im also gona try re doing all the fluid in the motor

Not exactly sure about your engine but most honda engines have a bleed valve on the thermostat housing. If you have one you might try backing off the nut a little until coolant comes out then tightening it back up. What happens sometimes is an air pocket will form in the housing and keep the thermostat from opening.
I hope not but you could have a slight head gasket crack as well. I've seen the same problems your describing in such a situation. The crack was so fine that a compression test didnt even give a clue that there was one. But that being the last and only option, it was replaced and you could see it in the old one. It of course fixed the problem of overheating.

Check see if your fan is working. Also check the relay in the fuse box.
