Default outrageous oil pressure....

alright, i got the car back from the shop, they fixed the wiring problem which is the good news....turns out it was a few fried wires that plugged into the ecu, but they got that fixed, so that the motor will start now.
the only problem they couldnt fix was a problem with the oil pressure...after a few minutes, the oil filter will spray oil out all over the place...and i mean spray, it literally shot out from under the hood onto another car...its like the oil thats being fed from the GE adapter isnt going in through the head at all...

the adapter plate was taken off, retightened, it doesnt leak, and we've tried 2 fram filters and a napa filter, and they all have the same problem....any ideas of what it could be? sorry to sound like such a noob about it, just wondered if anyone had any experience with it....?

the motors a b18b block with b16 head, ge adapter kit for oil line, oil supply line on the head was tapped and plugged and the head was milled .035".....brand new itr oil pump, breather box is still hooked up....could there be something in the head blocking oil flow?

My GE oil adapter leaked no matter what we did.

Works for some and not for others.

Waste of my 100$

I dunno, it doesn't leak its just like the oil is being blocked somehow and not passing through the motor, then it erupts and blows the filter apart.....

alright time for an update....

started the motor up, idles high (cant tell how high cause when the battery was hooked up backwards it smoked the gauge cluster ), but higher than it should be no doubt.

so, the tps was checked, thats ok, unplugged the IACV and it idled a lot better, but still flucuated. my immediate though, vaccuum leak...so all of the IM lines were checked and none were visible, they were all the same as when hooked up in the previous set up.

the GE kit STILL leaks....after numerous adjustments...i tightened it up as snug as i could, and it still leaks like a siv...so i'm considering going with the T-fitting like on c-speed's how-to section on the oil sending sensor.

but anyway, any ideas on the high idle? i tried adjusting the screw on the tb, but it didn't seem to help much.

dizzy timing is slightly retarded right now to compensate for the advancement on the intake cam gear.

when the motors turned off, its like it takes a second to spit the rest of the exhaust out, like the timing is advanced too far, i take the millage has something to do with that tho huh?
