Default outbound shaft removal

hey, im trying to take off the outbound joint on my axel, the boot ripped and im replacing it. i read my helms but not much info on how to take it off. is there a clip or something on the inside where all the grease is? btw the boot im replacing is the closet one to the hub. thanks

its outboard not outbound
and hit the joint with a hammer, itll come off.

hit it on the 'left' side, where the boot would be(not where the actual boot goes, but perpendicular to it), hit on the outer edge (hitting towards the right) while holding onto the splined end with one hand (in a vise of course)
