opinions on what to do?
well long story short.
a year ago I bought a b18c1 motor from some k series integra dude.
I finally swaped it in 3 months ago but it smoked kinda bad at some rpm's
so i took out the head to check everything out and put a new headgasket thinking it might help, but when i was taking the head out, 4!! head bolts where loose, i thought the guy that had it before didnt tighten them but as im installing the head back on, they wouldnt tighten so the thread is fucked...
I tried doing the helicoil repair on one of them to see if it worked but the helicoil repair didnt seem to work so im still stucked without my car waiting to see what i can do.
anyone think a machine shop can fix the threads? or should i go for a new bottom end? suggestions?...blahhh there goes my tax money
kinda gets me pissed off bcause when i bought the motor the guy said it had ctr cams, but it was really the intake cam -stock gsr exhaust cam
and now to top it off im in this thread crap.... RANT

I would make sure that you don't have a shorter bolt off another motor - like b18a\b or b16a cause I have a hard time believing with the right length bolt you could strip four
