They were one of the early pioneers in high-torque import clutch sets.

Their clutches with the organic disc is over priced for a reworked pressure plate and stock disc.

They do have a warranty though.

I'm running a hybrid full face disc on my ACT HD/Fidanza set-up on my R, and I like it.
I don't do any 9K rpm drops, though!!

how much Hp do you have and is your clutch a sport series or a max series?because ive ran the sport series 6 puck sprung clutch and have never had a problem with doing high Rpm launches. they have very reliable clutches

I personally dont like this clutch at all. I got the street disc that is suppose to be good up to 440 lb/tq. Im only putting down maybe 240 lb/tq and mine likes to slip like no other if any kind of heat is put on it. Plus when I called RPS about it they just gave me a bunch of bullshit and tried to blame EVERYTHING besides the clutch.

Im using the street disc, as I didnt really think there was a point to the segmented discs on the clutch, since at the time I would have to pay someone to take out the clutch and replace it anyways. And it maybe saves 150 bucks. It was broken in on the dyno and then was driven very conservative for over a month. I drive 60 miles a day.

If there was suppose to be a specific way to break the clutch in, i never received such instruction and i think the install was fine. And when I did talk to RPS they tried to blame EVERYTHING but the clutch. Doesnt sound like customer service just sounds like the bullshit run around where they wouldnt accept the blame even if it was their fault. I think Im more bitter about how I was treated when I called than the clutch just not working properly. I still give RPS a
