Opinions on oil
Just wonderin, what oil you use and why?
I run valvaline 5w30 I was using penzoil but i wanted to switch to an ash based oil. I also use Lucas as an additive

Opinoins are like butt holes....everyone has one. Here's mine.
Use the viscosity recomended in the owners manual. The brand is up to you, but the major manufacturers are pretty similar in quality. Remember, a cheaper more common oil changed per the recomendation is better than the best oil that is neglected and used beyond it's life.
Also...additives are neither required or recomended by the manufacturer.

My first recomendation is to search.

My second opinion is to use what is recommended by honda. Either 5w20 or 5w30, whatever may be your case. Use a decent brand, I would stay away from Walmart brand or whatever. You get what you pay for. Other than that it is just oil.

this is debatable; but adding an extra additive package to an oil that already has one can have controversial results.
