i have a jdm h22a with Imagine Engineering header, 3 inch AEM CAI , hondata s200 and a 75 to 100 shot of nitrous

should i run a 2.5 inch exhaust or just run open header

car is not street driven at the moment

open header/dump pipe will give you more power than a full back exhuast, However it could very well be to loud for your track. Most of them have limits on Decibals. Just try it tonight. Unbolt your catalytic converter and see how ridiculously loud it really is.

If it's going to see the streets you'r not going to want it like that. Open exhuast with no muffler isn't all that loud, louder than a straight thru muffler, but not by tooo much.

 

open header is great for power; not good for ears.
