OOOOPS! help! is this bad?
i was filling up the gas tank yesterday, it was locked on full blast...and the auto-off think didn't work and gas sprayed out EVERYWHERE! Right where the cap is, it was filled past the little valve that you stick the gas pump nozzle in, so i took LOTS of paper towel to absorb the excess gas... well, one of the times i did it, papertowel got through that little valve thing and like 2-3 square inches of paper towel got ripped off from that valve and fell back into the gas tank!! OOOPS! it was not that much paper towel, but still. and you know the gas station paper towel, its more like paper..........Anyways, is this bad? could it get clogged? or do you think it will just sort of disintigrate/dissolve? PLEASE HELP!
it will prollie dissolve and just sit in the gas tank. the gase sump that picks up the gas has like a sock filter over it, then that in combonation with the fuel pump, i wouldent worry about it.
the fuel pump does have a little white bag on it that will not allow it to be sucked up. Try putting the same amount of paper towel in a sink of water and see what happens. Now amagine its gas. I wouldnt sweat it!

it is easy to remove your fuel pump assembly
right underneath the back seat
since probably floating around it may be stuck to your fuel pump
