Only two injectors firing.
I have a 97 civic with a boosted d15b running dsm 450cc. Only two injectors are firing, but its either 1 and 2, or 3 and 4. It switches between using the right two and the left two. It blew a couple capacitors in the ecu, but they have been replaced. The resistor box is good and wired in correct, and all the injector plugs get power but only two get a ground at a time by the ecu. The car was running perfect then I parked it to get lunch, came back outside started my car, and it was missing terribly. Do you guys think I need a ecu? I don't see ANY burn marks on the ecu at all. Thanks in advance.
The pickup for the injectors is in the distributor. You may have a bad coil not setting a code yet. Happened to me JUST LAST WEEK. I rebuilt my distributor with good parts from old ones I had and discovered that the one coil was making contact with the reluctor (part spinning on the shaft). It was running good then BLAM, lights on, code4 and running like crap before the rebuid.
Swap the distributor and recheck.
