I imagine chassis ground and 12volt switch power are all that is needed.

12volts switch so the lighter is not on while the car is off.
And possibly a 12volt illumination wire if it is a lighted cig. lighter.

Finding the correct power sources is easy with a multi-meter. Good luck

i dont think i got a 12 volt power switch
unless its with the plug

there is a little clip tho behind the dash...its not pluged into anyth it has 1 red, 1 red with black stripe, 1 black wire, and a white wire with green stripe...it wont plug into the cig lighter..but should i use one of those wires ??

it could have been an "option" if the cut-out is there.. and if thats the case then the factory wiring would be located somewhere near that cut-out and you could always "steal" power from that un-used connector.. just remember that this is a lighter and will draw high amperage so the original wire will be thicker in diameter than the other wires.. if you are not sure than you could always run a single fused wire straight from the battery for power, and connect the ground wire to the chassis behind the center console..

yes, it would.. but anyhoo.. if you visually look at the fuse block you should see a few empty 1 pin terminals that were placed there for factory options...some of these terminals will be switched power, some constant power.. you could always steal power here as well, just make sure to install an inline fuse for added protection..
