is it? will it run at a ridiculous pressure, thus requiring i purchase a fuel pressure reg.. before the why questions, i intend to go turbo and just wanted to know if i can throw the pump on now or if i should wait.

If you are going to be running a pump with this kind of capacity, you need to upgrade your fuel pressure regulator. Otherwise, the engine will run REALLY rich, especially at low RPMs.

oh ok. if i wait until i have 450cc injectors and a turbo spooling on the other end i wont need to buy a fpr, right?

u can run it and be fine. it may be about 50 psi at idle but it aint gonna hurt anything. u can always drill the tiny hole in the stock reg and let some of the press bleed out. theoldone.com has it.
