Default oiling prob. on road course how do I fix?

I blew a motor from oil starvation. Is it okay to run 1-2extra quarts of oil in the crank? Is there another soultion thats inexpensive?

no you do not want to run extra oil in the motor, it can damage it.
Problem: since you sad on a road cours i am assuming that your oil sloshed around in the oil pan preventing the oil pump from sending oil to rest of the motor
Solution: you need to get a baffed racing oil pan i believe moroso has one, and i know that mugen has one. do a search for racing or baffled oil pans.

check out http://www.opmmotorsports.com. They build many race preped honda's, im sure they can figure something out.. If you can't afford your car to be broken down for about 2 weeks for you to send the pan and get work done, you might have to buy another from a junkyard and send it out..

Its not baffled though.. Thats what you need, a baffled pan to keep the oil from slushing to one side of the motor.. Just because you have MORE oil, it isn't going to stop this from happening..

I would go with a stock pan from a junk yard and have the baffles put in it....probably very cheap to do.
