Default oil temp gauge ques.

I am thinking of installeing the sender for my autometer gauge to the factory location on the back of the block and am wondering if not using the factory sensor is going to affect anything. Or should I try hooking the factory one back up?

1. if you run it off the sender the temp won't be very accurate due to the fact its not submerged in oil and itjust running across it.
2. if you run no sending unit you will have a oil pressure light on and no vtec if you have it.
