alright heres what ive got planned

b18b ls block
polished LS crank
*b16 head milled .030
*stage 2 p&p
ctr cams (jun 3's later on)
*itr/portflow valve springs
itr manifold
dc 4-1 header
*ctr pistons
camp1320 cam gears
b16 tranny
*act clutch
*11.5 lb flywheel
i/h/e
chipped p28 right now (hondata later)

just for a general idea right now.....the ones with *'s are the items i havent gotten yet....but its my daily driver too, so the compressions gonna be up there, but timing can be adjusted for that if necessary, til i can pick up race gas at the track.....

I feel that installing piston squirters in an non-Vtec block is alot of hassle. A good alternative may be piston coatings, they will help to control heat in the piston assembly.
I guess it is more so up to you.
If you do decide to go with piston squirters, make sure to jump up to a Vtec or (any) newer oil pump. The squirters will demand some oil supply from the rest of the system. Good luck, set-up looks pretty good so far.

What rpm limit are you planning to spin to??

thanks meng, im really kind of set on going with the CTR's, and i've heard a few times that in order to get the most power redline would have to be at least 9k.

but if coating that pistons would work better and as well as the squirters, i'd do that, it all comes down to something that will be able to handle it.....

I suggested coating as an alternative, you will still want to research them alittle more and see if it is right for your goals. I have had excellent luck with Swain coatings.

right my main concern is how long they last etc, where as oil squirters are always pumping oil.....

*edit*-hey what was the return time on the coatings??
