Changing my spark plugs and wires on my new (used) '96 Acura 2.5TL today and all but one spark plug hole was drenched in oil. Not just the Spark plug area but on the boot of the wires as well...made me sick.....what can I do to stop this?? Please help...I have pretty good mechanical ability but am not familiar with this area. Thank you.

 

remover ur valve cover and see if it has o rings as a gasket around the sprak plug holes between the valve cover and head.

 

Valve cover gasket kit... it comes with the spark plug hole o-rings, just make sure you clean the mating surface of the valve cover good first and torque it to specs when you reinstall it.

hey there again....yeah, I did what is in the video and got to the o-rings underneath the rocker arm assembly and they definantly needed changing....however, what the heck are the O-rings called? Everytime I try to find these people just offer me the ones that go in the Valve cover. So to recap I'm changing the Valve cover gasket, the spark plug tube seals (located in the Valve cover), and the o-rings located in the spark plug tube underneath the rockerarm assembly.....what are they called so I can order them? Thanks.
