Default Oil/Sludge all over engine...

So I'm new to the forum so sorry if this isn't the right place to post this.

I am also not too educated on cars but I know how to read and open the hood so I'll try to explain the best I can.

I have notice some leaks under my car. There were 5 spots under my vehicle so I assumed it may be multiple leaks. After opening the hood I discovered that there is black, oily sludge on my engine. http://postimg.org/image/9ypfk25f1/ I also noticed that my engine may be leaking oil from where the cover and the engine meet. Not sure the official name for the two. You can notice the shiny oil in the crease on the two on the left. http://postimg.org/image/ts1jcrist/

If that is the problem what should I do? Looks like the engine needs a new seal right there. What is that called? Could that be way oil is all of the engine....and everything under and near the engine?

Also, while i'm at it. My coolant hose has black sludge on it too. Other forums said it is just the hose deteriorating from age. Should I clean it or would it be fine? http://postimg.org/image/kwvn54not/

My car is a 1995 Honda Civic LX with 190,000 miles.

Thanks for the help!

All the pictures looked like maybe just the valve cover gasket needing replacing but the last picture of the coolant reservoir leads me to believe the headgasket is blown. I'm surprised the coolant reservoir isn't milky.

So how important is that? I checked the oil level and it is still full and the car seems to run fine. There is just oil everywhere. No smell, not overheating, etc.

Is there a huge risk in just driving it? Obviously it would be better to fix it now but I don't have the time or money to fix something if I can do without for a a little while.

Get some engine degreaser and clean off the engine completely using high pressure sprayer, once engine is clean you can see where the oil is coming from.

I also agree it looks like VC gasket, but unlikely to be a HG as car is running "fine" no overheating, [a sure sign of blown HG ]. 94
