Oil sender line?

Oil sender line?
I am thinking about tapping my oil sender on the front side of the head (that little 10mm bolt) and I was thinking that when I use my stainless line, do I have to make sure it is elevated above the hole in the head so the oil will not settle in the line, or will it be fine?
