Default oil pump...

i was wondering if i need a high flow oil pump with my sohc turbo setup? it is a d16z6 some one help...

not really...why would you?

a standard d-series oil pump will work.
Just buy a new z6 oil pump and install that

how would anybody know? I've seen people run 500+ whp engines with a stock ITR oil pump, as long as the gears are good condition and within spec it will work fine.

I'm sure your good for whatever amount your planning on going with the d-series
