if you pull the switch out should i be able to see into the block?reason i ask is i had the block worked on at a shop and i t lookslike a piece of wax is in there.maybe it was put in there when they hot tanked?can anyone help me on this??

 

the oil pressure switch is less than an inch in diameter and isn't going to give you a good visual point for inspecting the internals of the block.. how about doing an oil change and or coolant flush to see what kinda crud comes out..

 

ok let me clear things up.the motor is a fresh rebuild.the only crud that is int here is probably gon abe from honing etc.all i know the whole i stiny i just need t oknow if it is supposed to be clear or have anything inside of it?

 

The oil switch port should be clear and have no blockage or restriction.. but some buildup might be considered normal..

 

ok thanks.i think i will just try to dig the rest of it out.i really just think they stuck something in there to keep it clear and forgot to pull i out.
