Default Oil Pressure help

Ok guys.. I recently finished my ls/vtec turbo build -up. took it to the dyno last night and made some great numbers. Midway through tho I started seeing lower than normal oil pressure, mainly during vtec. Even to the point that the car is falling out of vtec.

Pulled it all apart, and the only thing I found was that the o-ring on the middle cam cap between the head and cam cap was not there.

Could this be my problem?

Thanks in advance.
