Default Oil pressure gauge problem

Just installed a brand new oil pressure gauge yesterday. It was working fine, but today the needle is stuck on 90 psi. it doesnt move even after the car is off. the light turns on so its getting power. the line doesnt seem to be clogged anywhere. anyone else have this issue? and im using 20 50 oil if that helps any..

Here's a question for you. Electrical or mechanical gauge? Does your user manual call for that weight oil?
