Default oil pressure gauge

i baught my car about a year ago and it came with an oil preasure gauge on the side pillar after having the car for about a month or two i was messing around racing my buddy and the gauge just stopped working all together and it hasnt worked since.
it still illuminates it just doesnt read anything, the needle dropped down to 0. is it possible that i fried the "sender box" or whatever that thing is called
any ideas of what happened?

have you check to see if your wirer from the sending unit to the gauge is still hooked up...if it is then take it of and ground it...the needle should jump all the way to the other side...it just sounds like your wire has gotten loose
