oil on plug threads
so, the oil is on the threads, not a bunch, but some. eventually, the plug gets fouled. i've changed the valve cover gasket, but no luck. does this mean i got bad piston rings? if so, what kinda problems will this cause if I let it go til summer? anyone experienced this?

i got those seals with the valve cover gasket, but I haven't changed them, cause they seemed like they were not coming out. so, what's the best way to get em out? just poke em out with a flathead?

You're gonna throw away the old rubber rings so it's ok to butcher them. Try not to scratch the metal.
They get hard when they're old. They can look OK but still not seal because they're not rubbery.

I have the same problem. I replaced the valve cover gasket and the spark plug gaskets. I still have the oil. I was told to get some "honda gasket" and reinforce the spark plug gaskets, but I haven't done that yet.
