there is a hole in my oil pick up, I lost a nut a year ago, and I think thats what busted it, but question is can it be reused, or do I need a new one? this sucks! becaused everything is expensive in Germany.

Anyway, I'd replace it. Did you get the bolt out?

It's job is to prevent larger hunks of debris being sucked into the oil pump, damaging it and your engine...

 

I'm having a hard time finding one,GERMANY SUCKS! and parts are really expensive in pigtown, I paid 170 euros/$220 for a set rod bearings, so I wont even try to order one here,but I saw one on ebay, so I will just run with this one, for now. until I get another.
