Oil leaks and noisy engine.. Pics and vid
Recently rebuilt by me but having a few issues. Pan gasket was not changed.. Leaking from there and the oil drain. Also the oil cap?? I wiped it down from there.. Also very noisy.. Alternator belt possibly??

I also put high temp paint on the oil pan which makes me think its heating the oil and not allowing proper cooling and causing it to thin too much?

Wipe down the pan. And any other oil. Start from the highest point of the motor and work your way down than run the motor a bit and re check that way you'll know exactly where the oil is coming from.

Aww man that video mad me cringe.
Its either your valve adjustment is way off or that's piston slap. If you wana rule out your alternator remove the belt and run the engine.

I only have about 50 miles on the rebuild currently. Think its the timing belt slapping the inside covers? The vales I adjusted before this and it was fine so its something from the rebuild. I didn't touch the head by the way. I will remove the alt belt soon and try that

could be valves but i was going to suggest timing belt. no lie, every engine ive ever seen built/rebuilt a mechanics stethoscope is your best friend, lets you know if a noise is really coming from under a certain piece of metal or just sounds like it.
