i have an ls/v in my car.
i have a nasty oil leak coming from above the oil pan.
it appears as if its coming from somewhere near the oil filter.
the filter itself isnt leaking. its dry
i've been reading about oil filter housing gaskets going bad.
i went to the honda dealership today and theyre telling me
the LS doesnt have a oil filter housing gasket nor an oil cooler gasket.
is that true?! anybody have the part number for the LS oil cooler gasket
if it is euipped with one.

ls doesn't have an oil cooler or filter housing. the only gasket is on the filter itself.

 

only the GsR came with an oil cooler.

the guy above me is correct^^... change your oil along with the filter the rubber seal has most likely gone bad thats all
