Oil in intake m-fold & ideling problems
92 Civic Hatch
B18c1 w/ JRSC
After starting the car it revs to 4.5K then down to 1 then start going back and forth from 1K to ~4K over and over and over.
I noticed that on the JRSC the vacuum where the map sensor is placed is covered in oil. There is also a temp sensor that I pulled out and it's covered in oil too.
At Watkins Glen I missed a shift going into fourth on the straight-away. But the car runs fine while in gear and there is no 'ticking' noises. It's just while ideling that it acts funky.
Any suggestions?

Do you have enough coolent?
Did you bleed the coolent system?
Does sound like IAC valve or vacuum leak. Can you post a picture?
Do you have a catch can installed?
Is your engines oil overflown?
I assume after the engine is at normal operating temp. the idle is fine?

NEW problem this morning!!!
The car will not rev past 4K.
When I'm driving and I "punch" the gas it will through a check engine light and then will NOT rev past 2K!!!!

Do you have enough coolent? -yes
Did you bleed the coolent system? -no

Do you have a catch can installed? -not sure what this is
Is your engines oil overflown? -possibly yes. I was adding oil pretty regularly at the glen. It could have happened.

What is the new CEL? (check engine light)
Knock sensor, maybe? Guys, what do you think? I'm kindof stumped.
I've seen this problem many times before but can't recall the resolve.

are you jumping the corect plug ?
I bet you throw an IACV related code....

The light will be off but the code will still be stored in the ECU until you reset it. Follow the proper steps for retrieving the code and go from there.

After plugging in the jumper and turning the key to acc, all I get is a constant CEL. I'm assuming this stands for "0"?

I checked out the charcoal canister and it looked ok. The IACV did not have oil in it, I'm not sure what else to look at with it.
When the car is idling, reving from 1k to 4k over and over again, I can disconnect the MAP sensor and the idle goes "normal". Obviously I get a CEL, and then when I try to apply throttle, the engine will not rev past 2k.

I think I have found the problem. The gasket between the supercharger and the intake manifold is blown. Thus causing a vacuum leak. Going to try to fix that tonight and see what happens. (Of course it requires me tearing down the entire supercharger
)
)
Well, I found out why I have a vacuum leak
It seems that one of the bolts that holds the supercharger on came loose and fell off. The only problem was that this bolt hold the SC to the intake manifold INSIDE the intake manifold!! So I really have no idea why my engine is still in one peice. The supercharger blades are a little banged up from the bolt being thrown around everywhere. When I took the intake manifold off I found the bolt resting on top of one of the intake valves! The valves seem fine though (I'm not really sure how!). When the bolt came loose, that is what caused the vacuum leak in the gasket. I'm very very lucky. But in the process of taking the supercharger out I also destroyed my knock sensor.
Autozone said their 112$, I'm gonna do some searching on HT and ebay to see if I can find a used one. Just my luck.....
