Default JRSC oil level

I searched HT and google, HCI, a few other places, bought a used JRSC for my GSR, re-sealed it and replace the oil....but it only took about 2oz of oil. Has anyone changed their oil in their unit and if so, how much did it take? I have run it for about 600 miles fine. It just recently has gotten colder outside, but seems the charger is loud at idle. Is that normal? Thanks in advance, Dan.

I just ordered a rebuild kit for my M62 charger, and it came with 2 bottles of oil. According to this rebuild guide, it should take almost 2 full 4.5 oz bottles:

That guide is for an M90 charger, but I doubt mine will use that much less oil. 2 oz sounds way too low to me.

not like a motor; it should last about 100k miles before it needs an oil change if you haven't been abusing it.
