its a good filter, due to the size and the slight increase in oil pressure

not all honda filtes are good... most are made by fram= crap ;
then filtertech( wich is owned by Toyo Roki Manufacturing Co. LTD.) wich is a good thing.
A01= filtertech= good
A02= fram= crap
as for oversized filters, napa gold takes the price

Fram are not crap filters. ive used them for years on all out cars and NEVER had a problem with them and all the motors run perfect. just get some castrol oil and a fram filter ad youre good to go.

i use a fram oil filter on mine...i have heard stuff about different filters being able to flow more than others..is there a chance that the fram filter flows less than others...the reason i ask this is because i have a very weird cel22 problem...if im on the freeway at around 80 in 5th and i floor it and get up to anywhere over 95 mph and then take my foot off the gas the cel comes on....i do regular maintenance on my car so i know i have the proper amount of oil in it (when the oil is low it does it more often sometimes in 3rd gear)and the solenoid filter is clean....could this be a bad oil pump?
so what is the best filter out there that will give you the best flow and best filtration and have the highest oil pressure!?
i go between 5-10k between oil changes (depends on driving situation) and i find that using the k&n offering(s), which received great reviews in the link that mmuller provided are SO easy to remove due to the nut they put on the end; makes life easier + it's a damn good filter...
sure, it's a little expensive vs. the OE filter, but it's easier to remove and has a good rep.

**** i use cheap oil filter like ac delco or napa... i change my oil every 1500 miles.. due to the fact its lsvtec.. i want my motor clean... and plus i dont drive it alot...
