Default oil filter relocation kit question....

i am planning on purchasing a greddy oil filter relocation kit for my ej and i told my engine builder about it....he said it's a bad idea because it'll cause the oil pressure to drop lower than normal since the oil will have more distance to travel.
he said the only time one would put an oil filter relocation kit is when you're running an aftermarket oil pump cause it'll compensate for the increased travel of the oil to reach the engine...

kinda make sense since the oil has to cover more distance....but what are your take on this? will it drastically lower the oil pressure??? i wanna buy it because it makes oil changes a hell of a lot easier and it looks cool on an engine bay

any suggestions would be nice...

I have always wanted to know that same. I want to add a front mount oil cooler. I'm worried about that same thing.

Im worried about oil volume and pressure loss. Anyone have and data on using these setups on Stock OEM oil pumps... Along with the amount of oil psi you would loose with these systems?

i do not believe therell be a large pressure drop.

what kind of drop are you asking about also? the entire system? to the filter?

throughout the whole system, the pressure should remain constant regardless of the minute(respectively) volume of the added lines.

so in summary, it won't affect the oil pressure throughout the whole system then....
