Default Oil in cylinder 1!?

I hope my piston ring are still good....but cylinder 1 has some oil in it (piston is kind of wet) does this mean i blew my piston ring? blue smoke coming from my exhaust...just broke in the motor (1000 mile)...all spark plug are dry..but cylinder 1 is wet...

Brand new bottom end. Bore and hone with piston & rod. (SRP & EAGLE ROD)

I did the compression test. Since my Piston and rod are forge i figure it shouldn't be around 180?

SRP piston 9:1 81.5MM
Eagle Rod H Beam

Compression result.

Cylinder 1: 210 around 210) (this one have a bit of oil on piston)
Cylinder 2: 190 (around 190-195)
Cylinder 3: 210 (around 210)
Cylinder 4: 210 (around 210)

i check the exhaust manifold, no sign of oil...can it be my valve stem seal from my intake side?

Well, firtst of all, is your engine a B, D, H, K, or F series? It sounds to me that your valve seal is leaking!!! It'll be hard to determine if oil is passing thru your piston rings, cuzz, if you installed them by what the book says, then you should be ok. Sometimes, you won't see too much oil on the spark plug.

Seems like good compression. Could it possible be a valve stem seal?

That's what I'm thinking.

Did you also break in your motor? If only one piston is doing it, then a valve seal would be my guess because if it was from the break in period, all 4 cylinders would probably have problems from glazed cylinder walls

sorry it was for my b18c. my cuzzin said that im running lean because of the white tip of the spark plug. but really there wasnt any oil on the sparkplug. I hope its not my ring...but if it was my ring wouldnt my spark plug and piston be all junky looking with carbon and oil?

I honestly think it is probably a valve seal. Have you ever replaced one by any chance? It's not too hard

It sounds like you have a valve seal leak
