Default Oil burning

I am burning a bit of oil in my 91 Dx. I usually have to fill the oil every 1000 miles. Are they're any proven products out there that can actually reduce the exuast burning??

Thicker oil tends to disappear more slowly. You using 5W30? Try swiching to 10W30 and maybe even 20W50 if your engine is on its last legs...

A hone and new piston rings can do the trick too...

Yeah, it just that simple, hahah, just kidding. To help remove some deposits on the rings try STP engine flush. Make sure it isn't leaking, place a carboard box underneath car over night.
