Default oil additive in gas

did a oil change and noticed a slight tap to my valves, so i bought an oil additive (solder seal, gunk. valve medic valve treatment) along with a fuel injector cleaner and mistakenly added the oil additive into the gas tank.

I am curious on how much i should worry about this, as in dropping gas tank and draining or just run the tank down normally.

The few observations i made about this product is that
petroleum based (good)
it is flamable (good)
its very thin just like gas (good)
has a dark color (possibly a powder additive) (bad)

my first main worry was that it would be thick and possibly clog the line or injectors but dumping some out proved it was a very thin liquid.

please if anyone would be so bold as to fess up to making a mistake similar i would appreciate it, as my girl is freaking out about driving this car to work tommorrow

thanks in advance.

(edit) also i wanted to note that the car seemed to run fine for the few minutes that i ran it, long enough for fuel line to clear.

Run the fuel injector cleaner afterwards and it should clean it up. Also run the tank that you put the oil cleaner in all the way down. Then fill back up. You will also want to replace your fuel filter.

You might want to run two tanks of the fuel system cleaner.

There should be a drain bolt on the bottom of the tank. If you're worried or don't get the right answers, just drain it. Sorry I can't add anything running that stuff through.

thanks for the posts, just ran the car 1200 miles and she did it like a champ i think i might just swap the fuel filter though, not sure if the solvents could screw up the filter but better safe than sorry.
