Default Odds of bent valves from this mishap?

So tonight I was going to change my timing belt and valve stem seals. I have got all my tools laid out and am ready to get this over with. I pull the plugs out, reach over and grab my hose to pressure up the cylinders, and not thinking that the cams were still in, connect it. There was a loud clank noise and the timing belt broke. I have the valve stem seals on cyl 1 changed. If I put the hose in cyl 2 and it doesn't leak down am I good? This is my first shot at tackling both of these on my car and was feeling pretty confident until this happened.

Really? the belt broke from that?

I would put a new belt on and re-time it. so you can figure out what you've got.
