Ok so my brother has a 1991 Civic LX with the 1.5 5-speed. He installed a remote start and keyless entry a few months ago and has had no problems since.

However today after the car ran with the remote start, he turned it off with the remote, then got in the vehicle and attempted to start again, but only got clicking. He got it jumped, stilll didnt start, got a push down the street, and bingo it started. But once its turned off, it wont start again. So he came home, bought a starter, threw it in and now nothing happens, when turning the key to start, the fuel pump turns on, the lights on the dash light up along with the signal arrows but no click or crank.

Anyone have any idea to where to go from here? We tested the starter at his work, and its fine, the start is getting power for both feeds so thats not the issue...

Any questions or anything that could help with a recommendation, please let me know.

double check all the wireing on the keyless entry, he might of put a wire where it wasnt suppose to, or somethin might be touching.

 

thanks for the response. He disconnected everything to do with the remote entry, so the problem doesnt lie there. He ordered a new relay for it, hoping the problem is there.
