I will definitely let you guys know how I run...Last weekend when I went I didn't have it in the tank...I just put 100 in...this time I'll put 100 in and I'll add toluene. The weather should be close to the same so I'll post the timeslip difference.

555R - You can buy Toluene at Sherwin Williams stores...It's not something they keep on the floor you gotta ask for it.

I don't know where you are in Jersey but theres stores in Woodbridge, Metuchen, Edison and Westfield for sure.

For anyone who cares - I picked up my Toluene Saturday afternoon so I couldn't run with it on Saturday morning but I did run 13.2 on 93 octane...I was plannin on running it sunday for import vs. domestic but I didn't get there in time to race ;( SUCKS ! So I'll be running it likely Weds/Fri night.

 

Go to like a sherman williams or a place that sells paint, they should have big drums.

I was at Lowes and Home Base and they had it in small containers (which isn't real cost effective). If you just want to try it, that would work... its next to the acetone and paint thinner in the paint section of the store.

 

Alot of octane boosters contain MMT. Not only is this substance VERY toxic. But it also leaves bright orange deposits on everything and kills catalytic convertors and oxygen sensors (despite claims to the contrary).

 

i got 3 gallons but couldnt test it as my radiator fan dont work so I overheated
