Yeah... Those are the bearings. They are not part of the diff.
The quality of the machining looks to be similar to other OBX units I have installed. My Quaife is much finer in overall finish machining.

either way dose it matter? just open it up make sure everything is ok and put it into your trans

If it doesn't have the Quaife logo stamped in it, then it is not a Quaife unit. That is the plain answer. There are more details, but that's a start.

Thanks for that. I see there are two recesses on the face of the Quaife that mine does not have. That and the obvious lack of a Quaife logo. Looks like I got ripped then. Thanks for your help ppl!
