i also want to kno what grit to use when ur using a cartridge roll....any advice??

 

You're going to port the head yourself?? Have you done this before? Porting a head correctly takes years of experience or else you will mess it up a lot. Is your name really b20vtec(h) or is that a joke?

 

yes im doing the port myself, only one way to learn right?? and yes b20vtech is just a joke name bro.... i have been working on Honda's for a little over 6 yrs now and have built my own motors that makes very decent power.... i usaually work on the short blocks and i have not yet port/polish a head.....so obviously thats my next step.....

 

pick up a used flow bench or make one using a vacuum. this way you at least know whether you moving in the right direction.
