Default obdo b16 to obd1, p28 ecu?

I'm going to convert to obd1, should I use stock p28 ecu? Are timing and fuel maps enough for b16?
Is there a better suited ecu for this conversion.I heard that Phearable.net sells modified p28 ecu's.

The only OBD-I B16 ECU that comes to mind is the one out of the SiR-II, which is JDM so you might have trouble sourcing one. You could get your P28 chipped and run a stock B16 map. An added bonus would be that, should you decide to go turbo or add aggressive cams, etc down the road, you'll already have a chipped ECU that you can use for tuning.
