Obd2a vs obd2b dash harness
Hey guys,
so the other day I swapped out the brown dash from my 2000 integra GSR and replaced with a black dash from a 1999 integra LS. I used the dash harness that was inside the 1999 dash and plugged up into my fuse box. Everything looked identical and plugged up as it should.
The only difference I noticed was the GSR harness had a single pink wire on a plug that went into the fuse box.
now, my GSR gauge cluster is doing crazy things.
-SRS light on
-cruise control light stays on
-coolant gauge stays on cold
-fuel gauge goes all the way full
-When using either turn signal or hazards, the tachometer and speedometer needles both bounce up in down in sequence with the signal.
my question is there a difference between obd2a and obd2b dash harness that caused this or is it possibly a fuse or other issue ? I really don’t want to pull the dash again the job kind of sucked
thanks
