Default obd2 scanner ..... which one to get???

so i'm looking through the new Sears catalog at scan tools.... i'm looking at the following...

Actron OBD2 AutoScanner $179.99
INNOVA 1003 OBD2 Code Reader $129.99
INNOVA 3110 CanOBD2 Tool $179.99

does anyone have any experience with any of these? of course there is the obd1 & 2 tools next to them for $1,099.... will the cheaper OBD2 only tools work just as well.. minus the graphing and file storage.... i am only using the tool to make sure i'm not spitting any codes... no check engine light or anything, but just want to make sure it's up to par before i throw a bottle on it being that i just purchased the car and all....

now that i think about it.... will it even spit codes without the check engine light on?

If you just want to be able to check and clear codes, there are cheaper options.

There are some temporary codes that wont turn the light on.

So you just want to be able to read/erase codes?

I cannot remember the p/n off hand but there is another small actron unit for like 80$ you can get at advance auto parts.
