OBD2 to OBD1 conversion questions
I want to convert my 98 civic EX to OBD1. The car is an automatic, all the harnesses ive seen only have 3 plugs, how would i get the 4th plug to work? Does the automatic plug simply go directly to the OBD1 ECU? Is it even possible? What is the best ECU to use? Thanks!

A few companies make them. I personally have the Skunk 2 harness. Then just get your self a OBD I ECU. Don't worry about anything else. The OBD I ecu will just look for the sensors is supposed to ( i.e. the ones that came factory on the engine for that year. ) OBD II has more sensors , but that doesnt matter; it's not going to notice them.
CLIFFS: get a OBD I ECU for what ever engine you have and get a OBD II to I conversion harness. Plug the current ECU harness in to the adapter harness and the adapter harness in the the new ecu. Done.
