Default obd2 to obd1 conversion question and more

i have a 96 hatch with a 98 b18b

id like to run a conversion harness and some dsm 450's with an obd1 ls ecu/chrome.

question is do i need to change my distributor? and what generation dsm's should i run? the 1st gen blue tops or 2nd gen? does it matter? what would i need to make the 450's compliant with my system? thanks.

You can run a obd1 or obd2 distributor on an obd1 ecu.

To run dsm injectors which are low impedance, you will need to run a resistor box.
Do a search for more info.

Concerning running an aftermarket or larger then stock injector, you will need to run an obd1 injector clip or an rc injector clip etc.
