Default OBD2 and afc

First off, this is not my idea but my friend wants to see if it'll work. He wants to run an afc with larger fuel injectors on his 00 accord. the reasoning behind such an idea is so that he may be able to get better air/fuel ratios. at 6psi what setting on the afc would you need (eg -10%) to prevent the ecu from throwing a check engine light? personally i think this is a gay way of doing tuning, but is it worth a shot?
