OBD1-nonOBD convertor
Okay well i'm just about finished making my friend's OBD1-nonOBD convertor and I just wanted to double check a few thing... First on a nonOBD car you have 2 fuel pump relays (FLR1 & FLR2), on an OBD1 car you only have a FLR1 so can I just "Y" the A17(OBD1) over to the A12 and A14(non OBD) points?? And the last two things... For the electrical load detector I have an OBD1 point but not a nonOBD... So can I just pull the pin?? As for the alternator control (ALTC) what should I do... I have an OBD1 point but not a nonOBD... I haven't worked with rewiring alternators a lot so I'm not familiar with all the point... ie ALTC & ALT (which I assume is the output) Thanks in advance
And another quick question... Does anyone know the pin locations on an OBD2 distributor connector?? As you can see below I have the female end (wire harness side) of an OBD2 distributor connector and I need to know basically what each pin is... I know all the nonOBD points but I just don't work with OBD2 enough to have these things memorized.. hehehe I am doing this because I rather modify my friend's nonOBD DX wiring harness that I converted for MPI, VTEC, and now finally OBD1... I just don't want to cut the nonOBD plug off the old distributor and modify the OBD2 one... Hope you can understand this... And thanks again in advance... Peace
